Derian House Childrens Hospice
We provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 babies, children and young people across the North West. The care we provide is free for families, but services cost £6 million to run every year. Our help extends right across the family to brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents.

Sydenham Garden
Sydenham Garden provides therapeutic gardening and and arts and crafts groups for people with mental health difficulties and dementia - in the beautiful setting of a nature reserve and community food growing site. It is a source of peace and joy, a real sanctuary when people are going through tough times.
Projects we have already funded

Penicuik Athletic Youth Football Club
We are a community-based charity youth football club that provides football coaching for girls and boys aged 5 to 17, giving them the opportunity to learn to play football.

Alex Wish Duchenne Virtual Ward Project
Alex's Wish is a charity dedicated to conquering Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A progressive, life-limiting muscle-wasting disease that affects 1 in every 3,500 boys born. We are a family-run charity, set-up by Alex's parents 13 years ago after discovering there is not enough funding going into medical research to find treatments and a cure for those living with Duchenne in the UK.

ELF Charity
Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF)’s vision is that every family affected by blood cancer and blood disorders across Devon receives compassionate, tailored support. Blood cancer can affect anybody of any age and over 3,000 people will be diagnosed with a haematological cancer this year in the Southwest. Treatment for blood cancer often requires lengthy procedures meaning days, weeks, or months at a time in and out of hospital and, in a lot of cases, years of follow up appointments. ELF led the fundraising efforts to create the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital’s Haematology Centre, which opened in 2003, and continues to support the centre and the hundreds of patients who attend it each week. ELF supports families from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, with services including transport, accommodation, counselling, aromatherapy, equipment, financial and legal services.

Ignite Life
Ignite Life is a youth charity that has been in operation since 2019. We provide frontline, tailored services to disadvantaged young people and families impacted by poverty, adversity, mental health challenges, food poverty, and more. We strive to deliver lasting impact and build resilience among young people through our three core services: youth 1:1 mentoring, mental health services (1:1 counselling, family counselling, talking therapy and trauma-informed parenting workshops) and food provision. We are dedicated to tackling inequality and ensuring that no disadvantaged young person slips through the net.

The Inclusive Club
The Inclusive Hub empower marginalised groups by providing free inclusive fitness and community programmes to people living with additional needs and life threatening illnesses. We have our own facility which is open 7 days per week and is dedicated to changing the lives of people less fortunate by providing a safe space for inclusive fitness, community programmes and a friendly chat.

Creatovators
Creatovators is a Social Enterprise with a passionate belief that people on the autistic spectrum have a lot to offer. By providing help and support to them, their families, professionals, companies and organisations, we are seeing significant success stories as a result of our service-user-led, "can do" approach.
