Clear Mind Derby
Clear Mind Derby provides practical and emotional support to vulnerable adults across Derby. Established in 2023, it focuses on helping people before problems escalate by tackling loneliness, social isolation, poor mental health and unsafe living conditions.

Project Overview
The funding would be used to expand and strengthen our early intervention mental health and community support services for vulnerable adults across Derby. Specifically, it would help us provide safe and inclusive community activities, outreach support, wellbeing sessions, volunteer development and practical assistance for individuals experiencing loneliness, social isolation and poor mental health. The funding would also contribute towards the resources, facilities and operational costs required to ensure these services remain accessible, sustainable and responsive to increasing demand. By investing in preventative support, this funding will help us improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and prevent individuals from reaching crisis point.
The funding will help bring early mental health and wellbeing support directly into communities across Derby through a mobile outreach hub. Using a converted van, REACH will provide affordable food alongside practical advice, wellbeing conversations, mental health signposting and community support for adults experiencing loneliness, social isolation and poor mental health.
By taking services to the people who need them most, the project will remove barriers to accessing support, helping vulnerable individuals feel connected, valued and supported before they reach crisis point. Our grant will contribute towards the first year of operating the mobile hub, enabling Clear Mind Derby to build a sustainable service that strengthens communities and improves lives.
