MIMHC Foundation
MIMHC represents a cross section of UK intermediary mortgage firms who operate in the U.K. Originating as a steering group they continuously develop reference material and evolve practical support so Mental Health and Well-being best practices are easily accessible and provide support to all UK firms operating within the mortgage sector.
Project Overview
MIMHC needed to transition from a voluntary steering group composed of their founding partners to a registered non profit Community Interest Company (CIC), which will allow them to legitimately raise funds to support their work. With the support and guidance from the MAB Foundation, they have taken that important step and are now looking to organise a calendar of events for 2026. In October 2025, they hosted their first annual dinner, which welcomed 300 guests from the mortgage sector. They itend to build on this success, but they need capital to do so. We are delighted to support them with one of our grants.

Derbyshire Children's Seaside Holiday Home
Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre offers free seaside holidays in Skegness for children in Derbyshire who are experiencing poverty, trauma, or difficult circumstances. For more than 135 years, we have provided safe and enjoyable experiences that foster confidence, friendships, and hope giving children a chance to escape their daily pressures and create lasting memories.
Martin House Childens Hospice
Martin House Children’s Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across North, West and East Yorkshire. For almost 40 years, it has supported families through symptom management, respite breaks, emergency and end-of-life care, emotional support and bereavement services. In 2024–25, Martin House supported more than 550 children and young people.
