Project Overview

Overview provided by crowdfunder.co.uk

Caudwell Youth is dedicated to helping young people who face a range of additional offending behaviour, and exploitation. We aim to fill the gaps in statutory services that are overwhelmed by the need for support and lack the necessary resources to meet this demand. We work with a multi-agency approach to help young people who require challenges, primarily related to mental health, care experience, offending behaviour, and exploitation. We aim to fill the gaps in statutory services that are overwhelmed by the need for support and lack the necessary resources to meet this demand. We work with a multi-agency approach to help young people who require more than statutory support.

We are currently crowdfunding because we value our outreach team and their impact on every day, they need the right knowledge and skills to effectively support the young people we support. Our team faces new and complex challenges everyday, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills to effectively support them. However, funding for youth work is becoming more complex .We believe that investing in our staff is investing in the future of our young people every day, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills to support that effectively. We believe that investing in our staff is investing in the future of our young people every day, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills to effectively support that's and competitive. Many funders do not prioritise staff training, believing that it does not directly benefit the young people we support. We disagree, we believe that investing in our staff is investing in the future of our young people every day, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills.

That's why we are asking for your help through crowdfunding. With the generous support of the Mortgage Advice Bureau and individuals like you, we can raise the funds we need to provide high-quality training for our outreach team. This will enable them to continue their vital work with confidence and competence, supporting young people who require ongoing support beyond statutory thresholds and we think you do too.
