Caudwell Youth is on a mission to support young people facing a wide spectrum of additional challenges, primarily centred around mental health, care experience, offending behaviour, and exploitation.
Project Overview
Caudwell Youth is dedicated to helping young people who face a range of additional offending behaviour, and exploitation. We aim to fill the gaps in statutory services that are overwhelmed by the need for support and lack the necessary resources to meet this demand. We work with a multi-agency approach to help young people who require challenges, primarily related to mental health, care experience, offending behaviour, and exploitation. We are currently crowdfunding because we value our outreach team and their impact on every day, they need the right knowledge and skills to effectively support the young people we support. Our team faces new and complex challenges everyday, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills to effectively support them. However, funding for youth work is becoming more complex .We believe that investing in our staff is investing in the future of our young people every day, and they need to have the proper knowledge and skills to support that effectively. Many funders do not prioritise staff training, believing that it does not directly benefit the young people we support. That's why we are asking for your help through crowdfunding. With the generous support of the Mortgage Advice Bureau and individuals like you, we can raise the funds we need to provide high-quality training for our outreach team. This will enable them to continue their vital work with confidence and competence, supporting young people who require ongoing support beyond statutory thresholds and we think you do too.

Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre offers free seaside holidays in Skegness for children in Derbyshire who are experiencing poverty, trauma, or difficult circumstances. For more than 135 years, we have provided safe and enjoyable experiences that foster confidence, friendships, and hope giving children a chance to escape their daily pressures and create lasting memories.
Martin House Childens Hospice
Martin House Children’s Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across North, West and East Yorkshire. For almost 40 years, it has supported families through symptom management, respite breaks, emergency and end-of-life care, emotional support and bereavement services. In 2024–25, Martin House supported more than 550 children and young people.
